Getting Crafty!

I got crafty. My dad loves pretzels and I hear it told he likes to keep them at his desk.
I needed a birthday gift idea. Inspiration grabbed me.

I went to the Container Store and bought the large 2.5 gallon jar above.

At home I asked each of the kids to draw a picture of their PawPaw.

From left to right this is what Rory, Rogan and Remy created.

I taped each picture inside the glass jar and traced over their artwork with black paint.

Producing this satisfying result.

Once filled with bags of fresh pretzels we have a birthday gift on a budget,
full of personal flair, and one the kids were very proud to present.

Love the finished product and I'm already trying to think of other things to make with this idea.
