One of the perks of the awesome underwater camera Ron gave me for my birthday is the camera is also shatterproof. This means we can easily hand the camera off to one of the kids. I love this. It lets them be part of the fun and sometimes they capture some pretty interesting images. The down side is they take a lot of pictures. They will fill the memory card in no time at all. Playing around in iphoto the other day I noticed it will make slide shows for me and put them to any song in my itunes library. It could not be simpler. So in a matter of seconds I turned the kids' images into something much more palatable than clicking through them one by one. Here are a few of the slide shows I've made so far.
Thanksgiving 2008
This was the first year we've been home and hosted Thanksgiving in 10 years. We had our awesome neighbors and my parents over and it was good food and good fun. I neglected to pick up the camera at all that day but fortunately the kids picked up my slack.
Sunday Afternoon
Next Rory grabbed the camera one Sunday while Ron put in a new mailbox for us. Here's that result.
Christmas with Nana and Pops
Last one is from the weekend before Christmas. We head up to NC that weekend to have a little Christmas early with Ron's parents. The kids did not fail to impress me again with their photog talents. I especially love Ron's dad mugging so much for the camera. Great fun.
